Corrosion engineer with extensive technical experience in performing material selections, preparation of material specifications and corrosion control procedures, in-depth material corrosion studies, failure analyses, destructive and non-destructive testing/qualification programs, analytical reviews of high purity water and raw water cooled system chemistry, and component and system design or modifications.

• Recognized as an authority in high purity water and raw water cooled system-wide power plant corrosion diagnosis, corrosion control, failure analysis, system-wide monitoring, and alternate material selection
• Develops failure analysis test plans and supervises performance of metallurgical, mechanical, spectroscopic, and microbiological laboratory and field tests. Analyzes and interprets the results, documenting proposed solutions
• Principal investigator and co-author of seven EPRI books and over 25 technical papers
• Prepared and presents seminars on corrosion and its system-wide control

• Performed over 100 root cause failure analyses
• Develops and conducts corrosion monitoring programs
• Performs material selection analyses
• Prepares component and material specifications
• Conducts materials changeout analyses
• Conducts system chemistry reviews
